Pipeline should go to MT refineries
I think that we have heard enough about the hazards of transporting the Bakken crude by rail and by truck. In my opinion, the solution to the problem: The XL pipeline. Why would it have to go all the way to Texas as there are refineries in Billings, Laurel and Great Falls? It would be a lot shorter distance and provide a lot of employment in building it.
How many years has the Alaskan pipeline been sending oil. If there have been any leaks or breaks in it, they haven’t lost much oil. With the technology that exists today I’m sure a pipeline would be the safest way to transport the oil. —Bob Joyce, Kalispell
