Loggers drop pair

CRANBROOK, British Columbia — The Rocky Mountain Bandits used seven-run innings in both games of a doubleheader to sweep the Libby Loggers in nonconference play.

The Bandits scored seven times in the fifth inning to win the opener 11-9.

A seven-run second inning put the Bandits up early en route to a 14-5 triumph in Game 2.

Will Reichel drove in three runs in the second game while Luke Haggerty and Cameron Burkes both had two hits for the Loggers.

Libby hosts the Kalispell Lakers for a doubleheader today. The first A game begins at 1:05 p.m.
