Twins extend win streak to 9 games

HAVRE — The Glacier Twins A pushed their American Legion Baseball winning streak to nine games Friday night, dropping the Havre North Stars 8-3 at the Havre North Stars Tournament.

Glacier, down 3-1 after five innings, scored three times in the six and added four more in the seventh to pull away.

Colton Gove, Tristin Steinwand, Colten Parker and Vincent Smith all had two hits each for Glacier.

Gove, Steinwand and Tyler Murphy hit doubles while Smith tripled.

AJ Wetsch went the distance for the Twins on the mound. He held Havre to two hits while striking out two and walking one batter.

Glacier (9-4) is back in action today with games at 10 a.m. versus Tri-County and at noon.

The tournament ends Sunday.
