Norma Lois Smith Buck, 84, passed away “to be with the Lord” on Friday, May 30, 2014, in Kalispell.

Norma was born Nov. 15, 1929, on a family farm near Rago, Kan., in Kingman County to Charles and Lena Smith.

Eventually settling in Kalispell, Norma worked for many years in the hospital cafeteria. In her later years she began a home business as a Mary Kay consultant. She loved attending Mary Kay conferences with her friends, spending time with her family, reading and playing games.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Lena; her husband, Fred; her sister, Letha; and her brothers, Marvin and Kenneth.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Doreen “Dody” and Ray Green, of Billings; her son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Jennifer Buck, of Great Falls; and her grandchildren, Kenton Green, Lindsey Buck and Collin Buck.

Norma will be deeply missed by all her family and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 19 at the Eagles.

Memorials may be sent to Meals on Wheels at 160 Kelly Road, Kalispell, MT 59901; or to the Kalispell Library at  247 First Ave. E., Kalispell, MT 59901.

The family would like to thank her Mary Kay family, Bill Dye, Patrice Manget, her caregivers at Brendan House and Kalispell Regional Medical Center, and all her wonderful friends.
