South snaps North's win streak at Big Sky All-Star Game

BILLINGS — The South team broke a four-year winning streak by the North, rolling to a 27-8 victory in the Big Sky Class B All-Star football game.

Baker’s Mason Melby led the South with a touchdown and a field goal in the contest, helping the side take a 21-0 lead at halftime.

The North didn’t get on the board until the fourth quarter, on an 8-yard pass to Missoula Loyola’s Pat Kosena from Plentywood’s Trey Howard. Ronan’s Connor Benn punched in a two-point conversion.

Bigfork’s Boyd Rieke finished with 10 rushes for 13 yards and Cam Nissen had two catches for 24 yards.
