Ronan murder victim identified

The victim of a Saturday murder in the Ronan area has been identified as Terry Lozeau, 51. He was shot around 4 p.m. at a residence on Mollman Pass Trail.  

The Lake County Sheriff’s Office is still searching for the suspect, Harry Lozeau. He is described as a 53-year-old Native American male, 5 feet, 8 inches, weighing approximately 165 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Lozeau was last seen driving a 1983 brown two-door Plymouth Reliant, license plate 15-6369C in an unknown direction of travel.

Law enforcement is instructing the public not to approach this subject, but call law enforcement immediately if he is spotted. It is believed that the suspect is still in the Ronan area.

The body of the deceased is currently at the State Crime Lab in Missoula for the cause of death determination.
