Jurassic Quest coming to Kalispell

The Flathead County Fairgrounds in Kalispell will be transformed into a Jurassic Park-like atmosphere this weekend as one of the largest exhibitions of museum-quality dinosaurs in North America comes to town.

Jurassic Quest, featuring more than 50 life-sized animatronic dinosaurs, will be set up at the Trade Center at the fairgrounds from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.

Visitors can interact with the huge creatures, learn about them and even ride a few of the dinosaurs. The display features realistic scenes, enormous dinosaurs, cute baby dinosaurs and activities for children of all ages.

Young paleontologists can uncover long-hidden dinosaurs bones during the T-rex and triceratops fossil digs. A “Dino Bounce” area will feature several towering, dinosaur-themed inflatables, along with face painting, dinosaur crafts and more.

Admission for children 2 to 12 is $13; ages 13 to 60 pay $18 per person and seniors and military veterans pay $16.
