Murder suspect sought in Mission Mountains

 Lake County officials are searching in the Mission Mountains for a Ronan man suspected of shooting his brother to death over the weekend.

A tip from the public led officers to Harry Lozeau’s car at about 8:30 a.m. Monday.

Officials say Harry Lozeau is the suspect the shooting death of his 51-year-old brother Terry Lozeau on Saturday afternoon.

Undersheriff Dan Yonkin says the search for 53-year-old Harry Lozeau now includes about 20 personnel and a helicopter. Harry Lozeau is 5 feet, 8 inches tall, 165 pounds and Native American with black hair and brown eyes. 

Terry Lozeau’s body was taken to the state crime lab in Missoula for an autopsy.
