Rain was bad; the driving was worse
The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office got a report about a woman recklessly driving a Jeep on U.S. 93 South, veering into oncoming traffic and outside the white lines. A deputy determined she was not intoxicated and the woman claimed that she was having difficulty seeing because of the heavy rain. The deputy escorted her at low speed back toward Kalispell. The woman continued to drive so erratically that the deputy seized her license, requiring her to re-test to obtain another one.
A woman reported finding jewelry that had been stolen from her at a Kalispell pawn shop.
The manager of a store on U.S. 2 East reported that someone recently slashed a trampoline display on the side of the store with a blade.
There was a report of a house being egged on Trailridge Road.
After a motorist reported there was a reckless driver who hit a mailbox and was running red lights on U.S. 93 South, the driver was stopped and arrested for drunk driving.
There was a report of a saddle and power tools being stolen from a residence on Big Cedar Drive in the Bigfork area.
An Angel Point Road resident reported the theft of a firearm sometime over the last couple weeks.
A Lone Star Trail resident reported a horse thief in the neighborhood, and he said he knew who the dirty varmint was.
A woman calling from a Reserve Place residence requested assistance with an unwanted man who was refusing to leave.
An employee at a hotel on Montana 35 in Bigfork reported that there were three intoxicated and disorderly men in the pool area who were refusing to leave. The men were allowed to stay at the hotel as long as they kept it down.
Kalispell Police got a report Tuesday about transients using a bathroom at the movie theater to clean up. But it turned out the transients were paying customers who had ticket stubs from watching movies the last three days.

An intoxicated disorderly man was kicked out of a Central Avenue bar. The man returned, was kicked out again and advised by an officer not to come back. Not one to take a hint, the man was soon enough in front of the bar again, making threatening gestures. This time, he was arrested for disorderly conduct.
Columbia Falls Police got a report Tuesday from a woman who said someone has been posting videos of her on Facebook, and it appears that the videos were taken across the street from her home.
A clerk at a store on Ninth Street West reported that a woman suspected of recently stealing a painting off a wall had returned to the store.
