Lorraine G. Manicke, 86

Lorraine G. Manicke, 86, of Rockford, Minn., passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2014, at her residence.

She was born on Sept. 10, 1927, in Ross, N.D., the daughter of James and Anna (Olson) Brusell.

Lorraine enjoyed traveling, sewing, baking, gardening and yard work, and she was an excellent cook. She was also very artistic and an avid puzzler. 

Lorraine is survived by her loving children, Sandra and Gerald Montague of Rockford, Minn., and Del and Joy Manicke of Bigfork; five grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren; and by a sister, Marlene, and Charles Barton, of Bigfork; as well as other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth L. Manicke; her parents; and by two brothers. 

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 24, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses off Woodland Avenue in Kalispell. There will be a visitation from 3 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at Johnson-Gloschat Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at noon on Wednesday, June 25 at Libby City Cemetery.
