The cows finally came home

Kalispell Police Department received complaints of belligerent teenagers blasting music at a park on Hawthorn Avenue.

A large herd of black cows were seen inside a subdivision on Silverbrook and Swede Trail before nearing West Swiftcreek and returning home.

Strange messages from an ex-girlfriend were reported by a concerned man on South Woodland Drive. He reported that “she has said things about grenades and there is a guy who is going to kidnap his kids.”

A verbally abusive shoplifter was trespassed from a U.S. 2 East business.

An intoxicated man and woman tried to leave a business on Hutton Ranch Road with a small child..

A physical disturbance resulted in a male punching people and pushing people to the ground at a U.S. 93 South business.

Police assisted a resident who “has some strange things that are happening in the middle of the night,” on Airport Road.

A person in a Two Mile Drive apartment building reported hearing fighting and a female screaming “give me my baby back.”


Columbia Falls Police Department took a report that a camera was stolen from a Second Avenue East business.

A man was reported pulling a female around screaming for help on Sixth Avenue West. The woman was known by police to have mental issues.

Suspicious activity was reported on Fourth Avenue West when two males and a female were spotted looking in front windows of an apartment complex while another woman sat on a bench in front of the building. 


Smith Valley Fire Department responded to a structure fire on Crossbow Trail in Kila.
