V.A. scandal tip of the iceberg?
Lunacy in the medical profession is occurring, most notably in the V.A. where physicians, psychologists, and social workers maintain strict control over a confused population of unemployed Americans.
Hiring in these government agencies is flourishing and no legitimate credentials are necessary, least of all professional expertise. Nor need there be. There really is no psychological problem. There is no delusion. These people have a right to be depressed; after all, they may end up begging in the streets!
The V.A. bureaucracy has been proven to be literally murdering sick soldiers quicker than the Taliban, while our president has the effrontery to put on a bright party-hat to celebrate his liberation of one soldier. None call it treason, yet we suffer massive unemployment, massive illegal immigration, and massive displacement of home owners.
And now, collection agencies are working overtime with direct protection and oversight of the Federal Department of Education. They are harassing and wiping out veterans’ savings, compensations, and Social Security. All of this with impunity. There is absolutely no Washington oversight taking place to protect veterans from these new parasites. They have successfully replaced the “Bernie Madoffs” of Wall Street.
We can only see the tip of this military holocaust. Montana may boast at having a senator overseeing Veterans Affairs, but reluctantly he’s waking up and realizing his dinner bell is no longer ringing. His “chickens are coming home to roost,” but not to be eaten.
Injury is one thing which is endurable, but insult is quite another. Americans don’t like to be insulted. If we can’t locate our foreign enemies, it may be time to locate our domestic ones. Too many politicians have had a free ride for a very long time at the price of human life and dignity. American life and American dignity. The buck needs to stop here. —Mike Donohue, Kalispell
