Hotels tell man 'do not disturb'
Kalispell Police Department officers picked up a belligerent guest — on probation for theft and criminal endangerment and with a history including threatening someone with a shotgun at a gas station — from a U.S. 93 South hotel after he was reported threatening other guests. The man was first brought to another nearby hotel, but it was found he was on a list of people not allowed to rent. He was eventually dropped off at a third hotel.
A Fifth Avenue West man was reported to have pulled a handgun on his neighbor after the man confronted him about plowing snow onto his property. The neighbor said he had a snow shovel in his hands and lifted it up when confronting the man, but that he did not do it in a threatening manner. It was later determined no gun was involved and the incident was part of an ongoing feud.
A pair of reckless motorists in pickups hit a portable toilet and a Realtor’s sign on Getty Drive. The pair had apparently been in the area for a few nights, doing burnouts and driving out of control.
