Message sent via dead baby pig
A dead baby pig was left on top of a woman’s car in a U.S. 93 South parking lot. The woman, who found the snuffed swine after returning from hanging out with her boyfriend, contacted the Whitefish Police Department, who disposed of the animal properly. It is assumed a message was being sent by someone who has a problem with communicating in a civil manner.
A man punched out a light on the north side of a Central Avenue bar before running down the street toward another bar. He was later arrested for criminal mischief.
The West Valley Fire Department responded to a Three Mile Drive home after a man accidentally shot himself in the calf. The man initially lost consciousness, but emergency personnel were able to get control of the bleeding and he was reported alert, oriented and stable while being transported to the hospital.
The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office was drawn into a dispute between a pair of Kila neighbors on Emmons Creek Road who each claimed the other was pushing snow onto their driveways. The neighbors agreed to be adults and only record, not respond, to any future incidents.
