Bigfork's perfect season ends with Class B title

The Bigfork Vikings added one final win to their flawless season on Saturday night.

The Vikings defeated the Columbus Cougars 71-62 to win the Class B State Championship in boys basketball.

The triumph at Brick Breeden Fieldhouse in Bozeman was the 26th of the season for the Vikings, who did not lose a game all season.

On Saturday, Bigfork fended off several comebacks by the determined Cougars, using timely scoring and solid free-throw shooting down the stretch to seal the championship.
