Woman reported for playing chicken

Kalispell Police got a report Saturday regarding a woman acting strangely, scratching the ground like a chicken, at a location off U.S. 93 South.

A gym bag, a backpack and a makeup were taken out of a person’s vehicle while parked at a store on First Avenue East North.

A woman calling from Lenwood Lane said she got into a physical altercation with a drunk man.

There was a report of a man bothering people outside of a bar on Airport Road.

Early Sunday, just after midnight, there was a traffic stop on 11th Avenue West that led to a person being arrested for drunk driving.

An officer assisted the Montana Highway Patrol with arresting a woman for drunk driving at U.S. 93 and Reserve Drive.

The Highway Patrol arrested another drunk driver on First Avenue East.

A mountain bike was reported stolen from a location on Third Avenue East North.

A clerk at a convenience store on U.S. 93 South asked for help in getting an unwanted woman to leave the business.

A woman calling from North Main Street wanted help in getting her truck back from an ex-boyfriend, who was refusing to give it back.

A bike was stolen from a front porch on South Woodland Drive.

There was a report of a work truck being broken into on Third Avenue East North, with a laptop computer, a checkbook and bags of tools being stolen.

A clerk at a store on West Idaho Street asked for assistance in getting a female transient to leave the area.

Two males were seen knocking over a decorative light in Depot Park.

A person calling from Fourth Avenue East reported the theft of a digital reading device.

A about 1 a.m. on Monday, a person calling from a business on East Idaho Street reported that someone had broken a door, and that there was an attempted break-in to a nearby vehicle.

There was a report of two males stealing beer from a store on Third Avenue East North.

An employee at a hotel on U.S. 93 South reported that a guest attempted to grab and kiss one of the housekeepers.

 

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office got a call Sunday from a woman on Whitefish Stage Road who said that her ex-boyfriend took her truck and he refused to give it back after the two broke up. The ex-boyfriend left the truck in the mall parking lot and she ended up getting it back.

A Helena Flats Road resident reported that someone let all the air out of his tires, and he suspected the culprits were neighbors who always yell at him, accusing him of driving too fast.

A woman called from the Kalispell hospital’s emergency room to report that she had been assaulted in Bigfork.

There was a report of several kids throwing rocks at passing cars from a train trestle off South Hilltop Road in the Columbia Falls area.

A man calling from Conn Road said that when he dropped off his two children with his mother, her boyfriend dragged him out of his vehicle and assaulted him. 

A purse and wallet were reported stolen from a child care center at Whitefish Mountain Resort.

Early Monday, at about 12:40 a.m., an intoxicated woman reported being assaulted at a bar on Hungry Horse Boulevard.

 Whitefish Police got a report Sunday regarding a vehicle being “keyed” while it was parked near the train depot.

Another vehicle was keyed on East First Street.

A woman called Columbia Falls Police for help Sunday after her neighbor’s dogs cornered her pet rabbit under a shed. She eventually got the neighbor to restrain the dogs.

After responding to a report of a disturbance between a man and a woman at an apartment on Nucleus Avenue, officers arrested the man for partner-family member assault.
