Why some believe abortion is murder
In the March 18 Daily Inter Lake, Steve Martinez provided what I consider another example of preaching hate in the name of civility and tolerance. He wrote, “People who claim to be Christians that call abortion murder and label providers murderers and preach violence against these practitioners and their patients are the real criminals here.”
In the case of preaching violence against abortion providers, Mr. Martinez failed to cite one example of anyone who preaches such violence. As for calling abortion murder, that’s exactly what it is. Despite the lies of the abortion industry, a human fetus is human from conception, so therefore abortion is killing a human being. The definition of murder is the premeditated taking of an innocent human life. In addition to an aborted fetus being a human being, abortion is always premeditated, and the fetus is obviously innocent of any wrongdoing, so therefore abortion is murder.
Mr. Martinez believes I am preaching hate. I’m sure all the aborted fetuses would have a thing to say to him.
In response to the rest of those who consider abortion a “service,” presumably an abortion with no risk of infection to the patient, or whatever, Roe v. Wade should be overturned and abortion made illegal as it should be. I understand the risk to the patient in the back-alley abortions, but the girl will at least think twice about unprotected sex.
I have no sympathy for the risks to a patient who will murder a defenseless fetus. The pro-choicers who rail about hate crimes against abortion patients obviously hate unborn fetuses.
