| March 20, 2014 9:33 AM

One of director John Ford’s greatest Westerns, “My Darling Clementine,” will be the next film shown for the Museum at Central School’s Historic Film Club on Tuesday, March 25, at 7 p.m.

"My Darling Clementine" (1946) stars Henry Fonda and features Ward Bond, Victor Mature, Linda Darnell, Walter Brennan and John Ireland.

As the enforcer of law in the town of Tombstone, Ariz., Wyatt Earp (Fonda) must balance keeping unruly criminals in line with tracking down and bringing to justice the men who killed his brothers, Morgan (Ward Bond) and Virgil (Tim Holt). With help from Doc Holliday (Victor Mature), with whom he maintains a tepid friendship, Earp's pursuit ultimately involves the history-making confrontation at the OK Corral.

The film is not rated; run time is one hour, 37 minutes.

Anyone may attend and there is no charge. Donations will be accepted to help defray the cost of acquiring and showing the films. The movie and popcorn are free, and wine, beer, pop and water will be for sale. Seating is provided, but people can also bring their own floor pillows, portable chairs, or whatever is comfortable for viewing the film.

The Museum at Central School is located at 124 Second Ave E. in Kalispell. Call 756-8381 for more information.
