The burdens of Obamacare

We have been told: “If you like your health-care coverage you can keep your coverage.Your doctor? Don’t worry, he or she won’t go anywhere.” There are hundreds of thousands of people across the country who now know this is no longer the case. The promises we were sold when President Obama campaigned on changing health care for the American people are nothing more than a gross distortion.

Massive delays have been experienced in a system that was known to be flawed before the date of implementation. Special interest groups were exempted by executive order.

Rather than increased access to quality and affordable care, we’ve been handed cancelation notices and increased premiums. These mandated health-care costs are making it harder for working families to put food on the table, put gas in their car, or send their kids to college. All of the things we want for our children and the next generation are suffering because our month-to-month income is getting smaller and smaller as these mandated health-care costs are getting bigger and bigger.

The burdens on working-class families are too much right now, and the vision needs to change. For Montana, that vision is reflected in everything Steve Daines is fighting for. Let’s help Steve Daines help lift these burdens from working families in Montana and all across the country by sending him to the Senate.
