Take pride in your roadway
As the snow has disappeared, we see an immense amount of trash on our roadsides. I would like to propose a plan for the consideration of the residents reading this.
Whether we own a house, a farm, or a business, we take responsibility for the condition of the roadside adjoining our property. We Montana residents like to think that we are independent and able to live life with a minimum of assistance. If that is the case, why is it considered acceptable to depend on complete strangers to maintain the space between our property and the edge of the road?
If we would all examine our wish to keep Montana as pristine as is possible, that might lead us to the act of contributing to that goal. Let us stand up and be counted as residents with civic pride.
