The Kalispell Police Department was called for a domestic disturbance at a First Avenue West residence, where a caller was trying to kick people out of her home. A man began to attack the woman — punching her in the ribs — so she left for her car parked in front of the home. The police separated the parties and planned to take statements in the morning.

The next morning, a First Avenue West woman reported someone had pulled a gun on her. It was the same residence as before and a man allegedly grabbed a woman by the throat and threw her into the side of a refrigerator. When police arrived, all parties were questioned and released.

A woman on Empire Loop said she had been burglarized. Someone had broke into her house and taken her Xbox, guitar and laptop. The victim did find sunglasses on the bathroom floor that did not belong to her.

A man on Second Street West was looking away from the road when he accidentally rear-ended a Jeep, rendering it undrivable. The driver of the vehicle was arrested for driving under the influence.

Several young people were drinking beer at a U.S. motel, sitting in the pool area while doing so. Police cited one for minor in possession.

The Columbia Falls Police Department was notified of a burglar alarm at a business being set off on Railroad Street. When they investigated, officers found it was the chef of a local lodge picking up supplies.

A mother on Jellison Road claimed her daughter told her that her friend’s mother’s boyfriend had ripped the sleeve off her friend’s shirt. The girl called her friend’s grandparents to come get her, but the grandfather left without taking either girl. When officers arrived, they found the girls had locked the boyfriend outside as a joke and when he reached inside through a window, he accidentally tore the sleeve. No injuries were apparent on either girl.

A man and woman were loudly arguing on Eighth Avenue East North. Officers found the man had an outstanding warrant for DUI and reckless driving and was taken in. The woman was able to get a ride from some friends.

A woman on Wisconsin Avenue heard a loud disturbance from a neighbor and claimed she heard crying from either the woman who lived there or her children. A man was screaming and the reporting party said he might have been hitting the other residents. Officers knocked several times and then finally got in touch with the man who said he was sleeping so soundly he did not hear the knocks. The woman was at work and safe, but the man was very uncooperative.

Several unruly guests were booted from a hotel on U.S. 93. The reporting party asked an officer to escort them to a different hotel.

A woman on Central Avenue was repeatedly kicking the vehicle of her ex-boyfriend. The boyfriend was making the call and reported she went to sit down in a bar after her martial arts demonstration. An officer took her to the police station where another man came to bail her out.
