A vote for Pierson

It is my honor and pleasure to endorse Debbie Pierson in the upcoming election for Flathead County Clerk and Recorder. As chairperson for the Bigfork Stormwater Advisory Committee, I have worked closely with Debbie for the past seven years. Her extensive administrative experience and attention to detail served us well throughout the project.

Debbie is organized and efficient. She knows how to delegate and utilize the talents of others. Perhaps her greatest achievement on our behalf was writing the Treasure State Endowment Program grant. We received the first, ever, grant for the construction of stormwater treatment from the Endowment Program.

She not only made many trips to Helena to support the grant, but also obtained matching grants with the Flathead Basin Commission, DNRC and DEQ in order to qualify. She put together the partnership between the Bigfork Stormwater Project and Bigfork School District to enhance the effectiveness of the system.

Debbie also administered many grants, which included quarterly reports and managing many overlapping deadlines. Debbie has established excellent working relationships on the state level.

It is her integrity that I admire most. She always has time for your questions. She has established excellent working relationships with the clerk and recorder, county attorney, GIS Department, Election Department and Finance Department to name a few. Debbie managed many other grants in addition to ours and gave the same attention to detail for each.
