'Creeper' tries to lure 9-year-old in car

Kalispell Police Department officers located and arrested a man after he was reported trying to get a 9-year-old girl to get into his vehicle with him on Ninth Street West. The girl’s mother reported the man was “a creeper” and that they had concerns about him in the past but that it was the first time he had tried to get one of her kids in his vehicle.

A Fly Way resident reported his neighbor told him to call police because a drunk man who was in the driveway of the “murder house” said he was being robbed. A responding officer reported no crime was occurring and counseled everyone at the scene.

A pit bull mix was reported starting fights with other dogs and chasing ducks at woodland park. It was picked up and transported to the animal shelter.

A resident called to complain that an officer had nearly hit a pregnant lady and another woman while driving down South Main Street.

A motorist was arrested for drunk driving after being stopped for driving on the sidewalk on East Center Street.


A Whitefish Police Department officer responded to Iron Horse Drive after a pair of older men were reported not complying with the rules, riding their bicycles all over and not in single file. When approached by the officer, the men were “completely understanding.”

Several people were advised to keep it down after being reported making a lot of noise on an Iowa Avenue porch.

A mischief maker sliced several garden hoses on an East Sixth Street property.

A set of golf clubs were stolen from under a Barkley Lane carport.

A trio of men were arrested on East Eighth Street.


A Nucleus Avenue bartender contacted the Columbia Falls Police Department to report “the customers are getting rowdy again.”

A man and woman were reported yelling at each other in the middle of Nucleus Avenue.
