Loyola dominates Seeley-Swan Invitational golf

MISSOULA — Missoula Loyola won two team titles and had the top two individuals for boys and girls at the Seeley-Swan Invitational on Monday at Canyon River Golf Course.

Loyola edged Thompson Falls by three shots to win the boys trophy. The Loyola girls were the lone team to break 400 and finished 69 shots ahead of runner-up Ronan.

Loyola’s Jared Greer and Tommy Tirrell along with Caleb Bates of Thompson Falls posted the low round with 75s. Greer took medalist honors in a playoff.

Loyola’s Sadie Crippen had the low round for girls with an 84. Teammate Brooke Bezanson was next at 89.

Eureka’s Chase Bohne shot an 81 to place 10th.

Bigfork’s Maddie Lorang shot 100 to place fifth. Bigfork’s Katlie Mergher tied for 10th with her 109.
