Ad about values was misleading

I would like to respond to an ad I saw on TV supporting Ryan Zinke regarding Matt Rosendale’s values. The ad implies that since Matt is from Maryland, Matt has Maryland values, not Montana values.

I did not know that all of the people of Maryland had exactly the same values or that all Montanans have a different set of values. I find the ad to be ridiculous and nothing more than an attack ad. If that is the case, I wonder if Mr. Zinke’s values have been changed by the time he has spent living in California?

So what are the values that Matt has that are so bad? Is it his desire to limit government spending and reduce the size of government? Is it his stance on protecting the private property rights of Montanans? Is it his belief in defending the rights of the unborn? Is it his support for responsible energy development. Or maybe it is his support of our Second Amendment rights.

Both candidates have a voting record that can be verified. I urge you to look into both to see which candidate has the values that are the closest to yours. If you are truly conservative I think that you will find Matt Rosendale will be your choice for Congress.

I would  urge people to vote in the primary. In many cases you will find that in spite of belonging to the same party, candidates have very differing political positions. In Northwestern Montana, if you are voting Republican, the candidate that wins the primary will most likely win the general election. Now is your chance to chose a truly conservative and non-establishment candidate like Matt Rosendale.
