Rehabilitating raptors

Keith Kratzer of Montana Wild Wings Recovery Center holds a red-tailed hawk during an open house for the center Saturday afternoon at the Fish, Wildlife and Parks headquarters in Kalispell. The event had educational raptor presentations as well as a silent auction to help raise money for the volunteer-run organization. The birds shown by Montana Wild Wings were recovered with injuries too severe to survive in the wild after rehabilitation.
