ImagineIF offers full summer of fun

The Flathead Valley’s ImagineIF libraries have a full slate of fun special events and activities planned this summer. Here’s a look at what’s happening:

Summer Experience — Fizz Boom Read! Become super scientists this summer. Complete an exciting game board for prizes including books, waterpark passes, ice cream and other cool stuff. Grand prizes are a Cubelets robot set or $25 gift certificate to the Imagination Station.

Marimba Beat — Enjoy the summery sounds of the Tropical Montana Marimba Ensemble to kick off Summer Experience 2014.

Events for teens

Explore your neighborhood, read, go on adventures and discover new things via an epic summerlong adventure. Beginning June 9, register at any ImagineIF location or call 758-5815 for more information. 

Prizes include books, gift certificates to local businesses and other cool stuff. Grand prizes are an electric bike or a $50 gift card to Kalispell Center Mall. Open to teens entering grades six to 12.

Teen Summer Workshop: DIY Bubble Gum and Fizzy Pixie Sticks.

Use interesting substances to make a batch of delicious chewing gum and fizzing pixie sticks.

Teen Summer Workshop: Super Strange Soap

Spark a reaction in your own bathtub. Mix up a batch of suds with surprises inside.

iPad Class — Explore the basics for successful iPad use, including apps, photos, settings and more. Bring your charged iPad if you have one, along with your passwords.
