| May 22, 2014 9:10 AM

Film submissions are now being accepted for consideration to the Flathead Lake International Cinemafest (FLIC) and FLIC JR. (a film competition for students 22 years and under) to be held Jan. 23-25, 2015, in Polson.

Films of all genres can be submitted through the FLIC website at www.flicpolson.com under the “Submit A Film” tab or the Withoutabox website at www.withoutabox.com.

The early film submission deadline is July 31 and the late deadline is Sept. 15.

All submitted films will be juried by a panel of judges made up of experts within the field of film and local community members. Films selected to be part of the festival will be showcased during the festival and are eligible to receive “Best Of” awards in several categories.

This is the festival's third year of presenting a broad slate of domestic and international films. The 2015 festival will be collaborating with the Salish Kootenai College in presenting a slate of films by, for, or about Indigenous topics.
