Bigfork's doubles teams lose in state tennis semis

MISSOULA — Bigfork had a pair of doubles teams fall in semifinal action Friday at the Class B-C state tennis tournament.

Alanis Stallknecht and Brooke Bonner defeated Haley Erickson and Madeline Woods of Chester 3-6, 6-2, 6-2 in the quarterfinals, but lost to Jill Barta and Kaylee Baeth of Fairfield 6-4, 6-2 in semifinals.

Adam Jordt and Isaac Martel defeated Cordell Wittmier and Austin Padilla of Conrad in the quarterfinals 6-0, 6-1, but fell to Teddy Muth and Stephen Sellman of Loyola in the semifinals 4-6, 6-1, 6-1.
