Woman requests extra patrol for speeding bicyclists
A woman contacted the Whitefish Police Department to report that she was almost knocked off the road on Baker Avenue when several cyclists came upon her. She requested an extra patrol for speeding bicyclists and motorists. “And yes,” the dispatcher noted, “she said the bicyclists were speeding.”
A pair of “reluctant victims” declined to pursue charges but were talked into getting medical attention after they were assaulted on U.S. 93 South, with one reportedly “stomped in the head” and one losing consciousness.

A man reported that he spent the night at a girl’s house and woke up to her boyfriend assaulting him.
An officer was unable to locate a group of people reported throwing rocks at buses.
An emergency responder requested a Columbia Falls Police Department officer after coming to the aid of a 17-year-old boy who had passed out. The responder believed the boy was lying about his identity and might be on drugs.
A toddler was reunited with his family after wandering away down 13th Street West.
