Ronan loses to Glasgow in B-C softball opener
GREAT FALLS — The Ronan Maidens lost to Glasgow 8-6 in the opening round of the 2014 State Class B-C Softball Tournament on Thursday at the Multi-Sports Complex.
Each team put up three runs in the first inning, but Glasgow’s second three-run inning of the game came in the top of the seventh.
Amanda Morency went 2 for 3 with a double and two RBIs, while teammate Kaitlyn Sassaman also drove in two runs to lead the Maidens.
Ronan will face Columbus in the consolation bracket today at 11:30 a.m.
