As our primary elections are nearing, it is important for every voter to truly study and carefully weigh what they seek in a candidate running for an elected office. Kudos to Weylin Achatz, Katy Walton, Gerald Cuvillier and Bob Brown for tossing their names into Montana’s political arena to vie for the position of HD13 representative for western Sanders County and southwestern Flathead County.

Many candidates offer basic talking points that are general in nature. I choose to consider a candidate who is unafraid to courageously stand for not growing the government.

“Fajita” Bob Brown is just such a candidate. Bob is genuine and hard-working. He believes there must be less government interference, as I do, and that protection of my freedom is foremost. He will be dedicated to making proper decisions to support Montanans’ multiple-use access to public lands and the wise harvest of her natural resources. Responsible land stewardship is a key component of Bob’s campaign. Bob will stand to defend my water and property rights and not be beholden to special interest groups. These qualities speak volumes.

I want someone representing me in the Legislature who is not part of an established political bureaucracy; someone that understands real, everyday problems because they have experienced them first hand. No doubt Bob Brown is the best candidate who will promote growth for Montana jobs, support traditional values, and will definitely work toward common-sense solutions. I am happy to endorse Bob Brown in House District 13.
