A store employee called the Kalispell Police Department on Tuesday saying that a man who officers were looking for a couple of months ago just walked in the store. The employee didn’t know who the man was, but described him as a “cross-dresser who often has a mirror and talks to himself in it.”

A woman reported that her wallet was stolen from her shopping cart in a U.S. 93 North parking lot Tuesday evening. Store employees checked the security footage and spotted a possible suspect — a woman dressed in all black with a scarf covering her face.

Someone called from Woodland Avenue to report that someone has been dealing drugs.

An employee at a South Main Street business found an eyeglass case in the bathroom garbage. When he opened it, he found a syringe and cotton balls.

A disorderly woman was reported at a U.S. 93 hotel early Wednesday after screaming profanities in the parking lot.

A woman reported that someone filed an unemployment claim using her name.

A woman called police from West Arizona Street saying that a cat showed up at her house and she thinks it’s pregnant. The woman didn’t want any kittens.

A man called police Tuesday saying his “life was lost” and he wanted to speak to an officer about how to get his life back on track.

Possible fraud was reported from a bank on Hutton Ranch Road on Tuesday when an employee noticed a bunch of checks were being written on a dead person’s account.

A man reported that a generator was stolen out of the back of his pickup on Saturday night.

A man was ticketed for stealing batteries from a Third Avenue East North business Tuesday.

A window was busted out of a vehicle parked on North Main Street.

It appeared that gas was siphoned from two vehicles on West Center Street sometime Monday night. One of the gas caps was damaged, and the other cap was lying on the ground near the other vehicle.

A process server called police from a Hutton Ranch Road business Tuesday saying that the store would no longer bring employees to the front of the store so he can serve them.

A 1999 Chevy Tahoe was stolen from U.S. 2 West on Tuesday afternoon. It was found less than an hour later in Marion.

Someone reported an elderly man and a very young woman at a bus stop on U.S. 93 South on Tuesday, which the caller found suspicious because it seemed as if the girl didn’t really want to get on the bus.


The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office was called to a Coram residence around 1 a.m. Wednesday when a woman said she heard someone banging on her door. She went upstairs and armed herself with bear spray, but the knocker was gone by the time a deputy arrived.

Several horses were seen running along the side of U.S. 2 East near Coram on Tuesday afternoon. The caller was worried they’d be a traffic hazard.

A Lakeside woman reported that when she arrived home Tuesday, she was missing a gold ring, a knife, and a bunch of medication.

An intoxicated man refused to pay for gas he pumped at a Marion station Tuesday.

A Kalispell man reported that a cellphone company has an account under his name that is not actually his.

Someone broke in to a garage on Tally Lake Road in Whitefish and stole a woman’s purse out of a vehicle Monday night.


Whitefish Police were called to a Columbia Avenue residence Tuesday morning when a woman heard a “strange alarm” going off in the alley behind her house. Officers located the source of the sound, which was something in the bottom of the Dumpster that was beeping.

A man reported that his laptop was stolen from his vehicle while he was parked at a U.S. 93 South convenience store.


Columbia Falls Police apprehended a woman for shoplifting from a Ninth Street West business Tuesday.

A store manager called from a Ninth Street West business to inquire about a “dishonest employee.”


The Lake County Sheriff’s Office made an arrest on possession of dangerous drugs during a traffic stop on 12th Avenue East on Tuesday.
