A $600,000 parking project is under way on the campus of Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

A parking lot near the radiation therapy center, which did not meet city standards, is being repaired and resurfaced.

The new lot will have 83,500 square feet of surface area, 3,300 lineal feet of concrete curb and provide 205 parking spaces.

The new configuration will add more spaces and will contain seven Americans with Disabilities Act spaces.

The lot under construction is north of the hospital near the “horseshoe” of Sunnyview Lane, and extends to the eastern boundary of the hospital campus.
