Kalispell Chamber to hold annual benefit Thursday

 The Kalispell Chamber of Commerce will host its annual banquet on Thursday, Nov. 13. 

The banquet is a yearly celebration to recognize the outstanding contributions from the community’s business men and women. 

This year’s banquet theme is “Taking Care of Business in the Flathead” and gives the Chamber a chance to announce the new directors and officers of the board as well as honor the outstanding contributions of the retiring directors. 

Three prestigious awards are given during the banquet. The Great Chief award is given by the Chamber each year to honor the civic and volunteer spirit the recipient has demonstrated throughout his or her lifetime. Through their efforts, they have made the Flathead Valley a better place to work and live and left a legacy of goodwill for the community. 

The Chamber also will honor the Businessman and Businesswoman of the Year. 

The banquet will include a live auction, wine grab, cocktails and dinner. The event is $100 per person or $750 for a table of eight.
