Woman scared of satanic organizations

A Kalispell woman called the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office on Friday morning to advise them that she was putting her animals outside. The woman said she usually calls to inform them because she’s worried about “satanic organizations” trying to break down her door. She also expressed concern about the weekend because of the number 23. 

A man reported that he bought a vehicle from a Hungry Horse woman on Nov. 8 and the woman is now refusing to hand over the title. 

Padlocks were cut off of storage units in Kalispell and Columbia Falls sometime Thursday night. 

A Marion principal called police after finding cigarettes in a student’s locker on Friday. 

A woman called from Marion saying her husband was receiving strange text messages from a number they didn’t recognize that was talking about drug use in the presence of children. 

Security lights were broken at a U.S. 2 East parking lot in Kalispell. 

A man was allegedly driving drunk in an old mustard-colored van Friday afternoon on Treeline Road in Kalispell. 

A grandmother called police after her granddaughter stole her Kindle. Police called the granddaughter, who agreed to return it. 

A group of transients were reportedly scaring off customers outside of a Kalispell business on U.S. 93 South on Friday afternoon by yelling profanities at each other. 

A Kalispell woman called police after her husband locked her out of her own house. 

The Kalispell Fire Department responded to a garage fire around 12:45 a.m. Saturday on Farview Drive. According to a press release by Fire Chief Dave Dedman, the fire was extinguished quickly and no injuries were reported. Damages were estimated at $10,000 to the garage and a vehicle that was parked inside. The cause of the fire was improper disposal of burnt material and deemed accidental. The Kalispell Police Department, Evergreen Fire Department, Kalispell Water Department and Northwestern Energy assisted the Kalispell Fire Department. 

Kalispell Police received a report of a plastic bag with a body inside of it on North Meridian Road on Friday afternoon. The caller said she saw an arm sticking out of the bag. It turned out to be a transient man taking a nap and keeping warm with a garbage bag. 

A shoplifter was caught at a U.S. 93 South business Friday. 

A woman was seen smoking pot in a Hutton Ranch Road parking lot. She was legal to do so, however — she had a valid medical marijuana card. 

A woman caught a man in the act of stealing her snow-blower Friday evening from her garage on Palmer Drive. She startled him and he took off running. 

A man was caught stealing candy bars from a Third Avenue East North store Friday night. 

A man reported being “jumped” and beat up outside of a U.S. 93 South hotel around 1:30 a.m. Saturday. 

A man called Whitefish Police after finding a bag of marijuana on Railway Street on Friday afternoon. 

A businessperson on Spokane Avenue reported five young adults that were being very obnoxious to other patrons by “cussing” and being disrespectful in general.
