Gabriel Alan Timothy Richardson, 13 months

Gabriel Alan Timothy Richardson “ascended to heaven” on Nov. 24, 2014, after a brief battle with a brain tumor. He was 13 months old.

Baby Gabe was excitedly welcomed into the world on Oct. 3, 2013, by his parents, Todd and Laura, big sister, Ella, and big brother, Ian, and the family dog, Matee. He was a busy baby during his 13 months on Earth. Gabe went camping with friends and grandparents throughout Alaska, taking road trips to Fairbanks with his family, blueberry picking in Hatcher’s Pass, spending time with grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins in Minnesota, and even taking a trip to Disney World and to see family in Florida. He was a smiley, happy boy who loved his dog and being with his family. He loved his momma and would wrinkle his little nose and holler when anyone else tried holding him. An early riser, he loved to snuggle and chatter with his daddy in the mornings. Our sweet Gabe is dearly missed.

Gabe is survived by his parents, Todd and Laura of Wasilla, Alaska; big sister, Ella Ann; big brother, Ian Alan Michael; grandparents, Tim and Dode Klein of South Haven, Minnesota, and Gary and Penny Richardson of Kalispell; aunts, uncles and cousins, Scott and Sue Richardson and son Hudson of Kalispell, Sarah and Matt Stone and children, Elias and Evelyn of Effie, Minnesota, Andrew and Sandy Klein and children, Cora and Bode of Manhattan, Kansas; and many other special family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his uncle, Jacob Klein; and his great-grandparents.

Memorial services will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 2 at the Church of Christ in Kimball, Minnesota. Visitation will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday at the church. Pastor Chet Hobbie will officiate.
