Deer death match destroys property

The Whitefish Police Department received a report of two deer entangled by the horns on Iowa Avenue on Friday morning. One of the deer was dead, and apparently there was a lot of damage to the site near where they were fighting.

Police were called when a man was sleeping in his vehicle near a school on East First Street. He was just taking a nap, he said.
