Stillwater stayed perfect against District 7B foes on Thursday, besting Eureka 25-12, 25-22, 18-25, 25-17 in a nonconference volleyball matchup at Stillwater Christian School.

Sarah Paolini led the Cougars attack in kills (20) and was second in digs (12). Dori Smith had 29 of Stillwater’s 32 assists and led in blocks with two.

Amanda Peterson keyed Eureka’s attack with 16 kills and 14 digs. Teammate Elliott Peterson had three blocks.

It was the second time around for both teams this fall. Stillwater also beat Eureka 3-1 back on Sept. 16 in Eureka.

The Cougars (15-2 overall) host 7B Bigfork on Saturday at 1 p.m. Stillwater won the first matchup 3-1.

Loyola 3, Bigfork 1

BIGFORK — Bigfork matched Missoula Loyola in kills, 32 each, led in blocks, 7-6, but fell short in digs, 83-45, and aces, 10-3, to drop the Class B nonconference contest.

Loyola (10-1) won 25-18, 25-13, 22-25, 25-20.

Marissa Hiza had 10 kills, two blocks and 11 digs for Bigfork (7-4).

All were team highs.

Abbie Fraley and Miranda Campbell also had two blocks each and Kalia Wicklund 11 digs.

TROY — Ronan held a big edge in kills, 21-3, and aces, 18-3 en route to a 25-21, 25-12, 25-16 Class B nonconference victory over Troy.

Aurora Becquart had five blocks and three aces for Troy.
