Great Falls man charged with assault on minor
GREAT FALLS (AP) — A 29-year-old Great Falls man is charged with assaulting his infant daughter in August, causing injuries that required treatment at a Seattle hospital.
Dusty Anderson made an initial appearance Thursday on a charge of assault on a minor. He did not enter a plea and asked for a public defender. His bail was set at $30,000.
The Great Falls Tribune reports Anderson was arrested Wednesday on a warrant charging him with injuring the 2-month-old girl.
Court records allege Anderson had been caring for the baby before she was brought to the hospital on Aug. 28 with bruises on her neck and arms and a lacerated liver. Doctors say the infant also had new and healing rib fractures.
Officials did not release any information on the condition of the child.
