Woman rattled by construction noise

Whitefish Police helped parents located a five-year-old boy who briefly went missing Friday afternoon. 

A woman called police complaining that construction near her East Second Street home “shakes the whole building.” 

A woman reported a reckless driver on Baker Avenue that pulled out in front of her Friday afternoon.  

Columbia Falls Police received a report of harassment Friday. 

A person reported that someone had gone through their mail and a check was stolen from their 12th Street West residence Friday. 

A woman who was a victim of a hit-and-run followed the vehicle to get the plate number and reported it to police Friday afternoon.  

The Lake County Sheriff’s Office made an arrest on a probation violation during a traffic stop on U.S. 93 near the Salvation Army on Friday. The driver was cited for driving without a valid license.
