Glacier rebounded from a slow start to drop Missoula Sentinel 22-25, 25-13, 25-20, 25-19 on Friday night in Western AA volleyball play at Glacier High School.

“Sentinel attacked some of our weaknesses,” Glacier coach Christy Harkins said in the first set. “Give them credit.”

Glacier (19-1 overall, 8-0 league) hosts the Helena schools next week.

“I was really impressed with my defensive players,” Harkins said. “There are three kids who are working hard, showing a lot of improvement (Kayla Russell, Shelbi Kusler and Hailee Bennett),”

Digs – Sentinel 69 (Lauren Cady 19), Glacier 75 (Hailee Bennett 23). Assists – Sentinel 31 (Tian Harrington 14, Marty Leichty 10), Glacier 40 (Hannah Liss 40). Aces – Sentinel 3 (3 with 1), Glacier 7 (Bennett 4).
