October is a late time of year for new swans but according to Rande Simon, manager of the Bibler Garden, a second clutch of swans is possible this late in the year when the first are lost. The swans had a clutch earlier in the year that were lost to predators. (Brenda Ahearn/Daily Inter Lake)</p>
