A man was spotted chasing deer in his pickup truck near Dilllon Road in Whitefish on Thursday evening. The caller who reported him to the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office was concerned the driver might be poaching the deer, but it turned out that the property owner was sick of all of the deer in his field and garden so he was chasing them off his land.

She also reported a jar of change stolen Wednesday and on Thursday she found a bottle of lotion in her bed that she usually keeps in her travel bag.
Whitefish Police were called when cleaning staff at a U.S. 93 South hotel found a large amount of paintball artillery, including guns and ammunition, and then what they believed to be real ammunition and guns. Police determined it was all paintball-related.

A man was spotted trying to enter a back yard on South Meadows Drive on Thursday evening. The caller said the man was leaning up against her fence and when she let her dogs out, the man put his hands up in the air, backed away and acted like he was looking at the house next door.
