The public is invited to meet candidates for Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks Region One supervisor on Nov. 6.

The state wildlife agency will hold a meeting and forum on Nov. 6 to give the public an opportunity to meet several candidates for the supervisor position.

The meeting will be 7 to 9 p.m. at the Fish, Wildlife and Parks large conference room on 490 North Meridian Road in Kalispell.

Each candidate will make a brief presentation and take questions from the public.

The meeting will be facilitated by Paul Sihler, chief of operations for Fish, Wildlife and Parks in Helena.

Sihler invites anyone interested in Fish, Wildlife and Parks programs to attend, meet the candidates, and ask questions.

The candidates are finalists for the position that was vacated several months ago by Jim Satterfield.

The finalists will be determined following interviews this week in Helena.

Sihler said that a final selection will be made by the end of November and the successful candidate will begin in the position before the end of the year.
