The city of Kalispell will remove lawn trimmings, leaves and normal garden waste if they are adequately bagged.

Branches will be removed if they are cut into 4-foot lengths, bundled and tied. The bundles should not be more than 2 inches thick. The bags and bundles should be placed at the edge of the alley behind your home for pickup.

Cardboard boxes must be broken down and should also be placed in the alley behind your home or business.

It is the responsibility of residents to dispose of appliances, hazardous materials, remodeling waste and similar debris. Such debris can be taken to the county landfill.

For more information about city garbage service, call 758-7720. For question for the county landfill, call 758-5910.
