Amanda Curtis is more than sum of her YouTube utterances

Rick Funk of Kalispell has grossly underestimated the intelligence of the Montana voter.

In his recent letter in the Daily Inter Lake, Mr. Funk suggests a YouTube site as a “real eye opener” regarding the positions held by senatorial candidate Amanda Curtis. I watched the YouTube video placed by the Republican Party and it is so obviously the result of utterances carefully picked to paint Amanda Curtis is a most unfavorable light. Everything has been taken out of context. Only the bits and pieces that suit the author are used.

Fortunately, Montana voters are too bright to accept this video as an honest assessment of Amanda Curtis’s ideas. This deceptive approach to addressing issues seems to be used by those political minds that can’t deal with issues truthfully and debate issues honestly. They rely, instead, on lies, innuendoes, half-truths and totally misleading information.

Come on, Mr Funk. Do you really think we are going to fall for such infantile tactics as a cut-and-paste YouTube video, when we can read Amanda Curtis’ readily available blog for the truth? If so, you greatly underestimate and blatantly insult Montana voters. —Jackie Ladner, Polson
