Volleyball: Polson edges T-Falls

THOMPSON FALLS —  After dropping the first game of the night, the Polson Lady Pirates won the next three for a thrilling Northwestern A road victory on Tuesday.

The Lady Pirates edged Thompson Falls by just two points in each of the final two games to hang on for the victory.

Polson’s Haley Fyant registered 16 kills to lead the Polson while teammate Chadelle Smith added 10.

Jaiden Toth finished with a team-high 29 assists, 23 digs and added eight aces from the service line.

Sarah Paolini had 15 kills, two blocks and an ace to lead the Lady Cougars in a sweep of Flathead Valley Home School.

Dori Smith finished with 22 assits while Sophie George had six digs to lead the Lady Cougars defensively. Stillwater aced 22 serves in the commanding victory.
