Volleyball: Wolfpack sweeps Skyview; Senior beats Flathead

GREAT FALLS — Glacier volleyball rolled through Billings Skyview in three sets 25-18, 25-19, 25-17 on Thursday to stay undefeated on the season and ride high into the always tough Great Falls Invitational.

Senior outside hitter Katie Wiley had 18 kills and three aces to lead the Wolfpack, which cruised to victory against the young Falcons. Nikki Krueger and Ali Williams each had a pair of blocks and Hailee Bennett and Shelbi Kusler each had seven digs.

The Wolfpack begins the Great Falls Invitational today.

GREAT FALLS — Flathead ran into a juggernaut in its warmup for the Great Falls Invitational, losing to Billings Senior in three quick sets 25-18, 25-10, 25-11.

Lizzie Sherwood had a team-high seven kills and two aces for the Bravettes and Xio Lopp had eight assists and 13 digs.

The invitational begins today at 10 a.m. and runs through Saturday.
