| September 13, 2014 1:07 PM

Bruce Allen Tudahl was born in 1955 to Don and Betty Tudahl of Berthold, N.D. He was baptized in Zion Lutheran Church and went to grade school in Berthold. His family moved to Montana in 1967. He did not want to leave the farm, as he loved all the animals and he enjoyed getting to drive a grain truck for his dad from the time he was 7 years old.

While Bruce and his family lived in Missoula, he attended Franklin School, and there he won the citizenship award in eighth grade. The family then moved to Ronan for a year, and then moved to Corvallis, where Bruce graduated from Corvallis High School in 1973. He was very active in high school rodeo and enjoyed hunting.

Bruce worked for Bob Rosencrant at the Ham-Mont Egg Company for many years. Bruce attended meat cutting school and loved it! He then became a drywaller/taper, and he and his wife Shelly lived and worked in Missoula for many years. After they divorced, Bruce moved to the Flathead to help take care of his mother, but eventually he became very ill and was even unable to work.

Bruce passed away Aug. 19, 2014.

He was preceded in death by his father, Don Tudahl, in 1989.

Bruce had one daughter, Nikki, and one son, Dustin, of Indiana. He had one granddaughter, Lucy. Bruce is also survived by his mother, Betty Tudahl; his sisters, Deb Durham and Darin Ordahl, and Susan and Randy Holman; his brothers, Dan and Deb Tudahl, and Mark Tudahl and Kelcy Berry; and his many nieces and nephews.

Johnson-Gloschat Funeral Home of Kalispell is caring for the family.
